Community Involvement

Getting involved with your occupation's community is important, but it's equally important to be involved with the community of people where you live. During the time I lived in Spain, I came to realize just how important a sense of community is to the average Spaniard. Whether by necessity or by desire, I slowly found myself becoming more involved with the social structures in place all around me.
 
I hope to maintain that sense of community now that I am in St. Louis again. Already, I've found myself involved in a local Spanish language meet up, and I'll be looking to become more involved in other community activities as time allows. I know that networking with other people will be incredibly important in the coming months, but I don't want to forget to think on a more local level.
 
In the future, this space will be dedicated to explaining the involvement I have in the St. Louis community.
